Our classroom has been filled with the beautiful colours of autumn! The children began by painting vibrant backgrounds using warm shades of red, orange, and yellow to show the changing season. These colours remind us of the leaves that fall from deciduous trees in autumn.
Once the paint was dry, the children carefully cut out tree shapes from black paper and glued them onto their colourful backgrounds. The dark tree silhouettes stand out beautifully against the glowing autumn skies they created.
This project helped us learn how deciduous trees change through the seasons. The results are full of colour, contrast and creativity!
