Ms Mitchell's Fourth Class

Have a look below at some of the activities we enjoyed during Seachtain na Gaeilge. 2023. We had a Lá Glas last Wednesday 15ú Márta and a concert where children performed their music tunes, Irish dancing, poems, songs and we finished up with a whole school Siege of Ennis! We have so many great events in Ardrahan NS throughout the year but this is the day that we really get to celebrate our rich culture and heritage and it is a wonderful opportunity to share our culture with our classmates from other countries.  

Everyone in Third and Fourth Class took an enormous amount of pride ensuring that their Mother's Day card resulted in a perfect creation. The effort was admirable! I hope all our Mothers enjoyed their cards and cherish them for many years to come!

When learning about Forces and Newton's law of motion, we decided to design and create a stick-man, using match sticks, pipe cleaners, tinfoil and lollipop sticks, that would withstand the ski slopes. It was great fun trying to keep our figures vertical while skiing down the slopes.
