Junior Achievement ‘Our City’ introduces the children in Third and Fourth Class to the basics of financial literacy, the characteristics of cities, and how people and businesses in cities manage their money. The children are really enjoying exploring zoning found within a city; constructing paper buildings; mapping out a city; planning their own restaurant business; creating an advertising campaign and examining why banks are important. We have completed four sessions with our JA volunteer Cristina and are looking forward to completing our city!
