Fourth Class recently enjoyed a trip to the Michael Cusack Centre in the Burren, guided by Karen Van Dorp from the Burrenbeo Trust. The children had an exciting time exploring the unique limestone pavement and discovering the rich biodiversity that the Burren has to offer. They learned about the history of the GAA, geological formations and the variety of plant species in the Burren.
Grandparents' Day was a truly special occasion at our school, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. The children were thrilled to share their classrooms and activities with their grandparents, who brought such warmth and joy to the day. A huge thank you to all the parents who contributed the delicious baked goods—it was a real treat for everyone and added to the festive atmosphere. It was heartwarming to see generations coming together and celebrating the importance of family. We are so grateful for the wonderful community spirit that made the day such a success!
