Congratulations to the children who participated in the Galway Chess Final at the Ardilaun Hotel in Galway last Wednesday. It was a wonderful experience to spend the day playing chess with other students from schools across Galway. The event provided a great opportunity to challenge ourselves, improve our skills, and enjoy friendly competition. We also had a fantastic time meeting and making new friends. Well done to all involved!

Bhain na páistí an-taitneamh as dul isteach sa seomra ranga chun scéalta simplí Gaeilge a léamh do na naíonáin shinsearacha. Léigh na naíonáin shinsearacha a gcuid leabhar Gaeilge freisin, agus bhí an-spraoi acu ag roinnt a gcuid scileanna léitheoireachta. Le linn Lá Glas, ghlac na páistí páirt i dTráth na gCeist spreagúil agus bhain siad an-sult as. Chríochnaíomar an tseachtain le Céilí spleodrach sa chlós in éineacht leis an scoil ar fad. Bhí sé iontach an cultúr agus an teanga a cheiliúradh le chéile!

  Well done to the children who created wonderful miniature versions of famous landmarks in Japan. This fun activity encouraged problem-solving and hands-on learning. It was so interesting to hear all the wonderful facts about each structure! The future of engineering looks bright with such young innovators! We finished off the week with some lovely Japanese paper engineering - Origami!
