Jumping into Fitness: Learning to Skip

Children in Fourth Class are having a blast learning to skip! Skipping is a fun way to improve cardiovascular health by strengthening the heart and lungs. It also helps with coordination and balance while encouraging teamwork and friendships.  They’re learning to skip in place, forward, and even perform fun tricks! Happy skipping!

Typing Skills

This year, our class is diving into the exciting world of typing! As we become more tech-savvy, learning to type efficiently is an important skill that will help us in school and beyond. What is the Home Row? One of the first things we’ll learn is the "home row." This is where our fingers will rest when we’re not typing. The home row keys are: Left Hand: A, S, D, F Right Hand: J, K, L, ; (semicolon) To help us remember, we can feel the little bumps on the F and J keys. These bumps are like our guiding stars, helping our fingers find their way back home! Fourth Class have been diving into the fascinating world of the Roman Empire. As they learned about its incredible history, many students became curious about other empires across the globe. This curiosity inspired their exciting research project: Empires of the World! Each student received a different empire to explore, from the British Empire to the powerful Mongols. They discovered unique cultures, achievements, and the significant impacts these empires had on history. It was amazing to see how different empires shaped the world we live in today! Presenting their projects in front of the class was a fantastic experience for everyone. The students did an good job sharing their findings with their friends, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm in each presentation.
