Welcome back 4th Class. It’s so lovely to see everyone back after the summer! We are very excited to get back into school life and routines. We are looking forward to learning lots of new things this year. We have lots of things planned for the coming year! Lots of STEAM projects, chess tournaments and team work! Galway Chess Finals

Congratulations to the children who participated in the Galway Chess Final at the Ardilaun Hotel in Galway last Wednesday. It was a wonderful experience to spend the day playing chess with other students from schools across Galway. The event provided a great opportunity to challenge ourselves, improve our skills, and enjoy friendly competition. We also had a fantastic time meeting and making new friends. Well done to all involved!

Visit from Garda Gerard Naughton

During the month of May, we had the pleasure of welcoming Garda Gerard Naughton to our school for an important talk on internet safety and drug awareness. He shared valuable information about how to stay safe online, including how to protect our personal information, recognise online dangers, and use social media responsibly. Garda Naughton was very engaging and took the time to answer all of our questions. We are confident about how to stay safe both online and in everyday life.
